A golf day, a casino evening
Cranbrook Casino Online After a Round
Cranbrook Casino Scorecard, an independent guide, plans one day around St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, which sits on Mission Road just outside Cranbrook. First comes a round of golf, then an evening at Casino of the Rockies, located on the same grounds. No bets are taken here, nothing is booked and no prices are listed.

One day
Golf and casino in one day
A golf day at St. Eugene can begin with breakfast at Numa Lounge & Dining, offered daily from 7 am until 11 am. The course takes golfers April through October. A round, meaning one full game of golf, fits into either the morning or the afternoon. The resort handles all questions about tee times, the booked starting slots.
Casino of the Rockies shares these grounds, with doors opening at 11 am. Friday and Saturday nights run until 1 am, while Sunday to Thursday the doors shut at 11 pm. Between November and March the course is closed, yet the resort and casino carry on as usual.
Guests who stay the night check in at 4 pm and check out at 11 am. The day planner and the hourly scorecard on this page do the arithmetic.

The course
The course and its season
Les Furber designed the resort's championship golf course, which opened in 2000. It is open April through October and closed from November to March. Tee times, the slots that set when a group starts, are not sold through this guide. An ATM is in the Pro Shop, the golf shop at the course.
In season, two spots on the golf side serve food and drink. The Snack Shack on the course opens every day from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The 19th Hole, the clubhouse bar and grill, opens Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. On Monday and Tuesday it opens noon to 7 pm. Weather and tee time demand can change these hours.
The casino
The evening at the casino
Casino of the Rockies welcomes guests from 11 am each day. On Friday and Saturday it runs until 1 am, while Sunday to Thursday nights end at 11 pm. No separate holiday schedule is published; checking casinooftherockies.ca ahead of a holiday trip is the safer plan.
Casino of the Rockies has no live table games. Its gaming floor holds 210 slot machines, among them electronic tables: E-Roulette, E-Baccarat and E-Blackjack, machine versions of those games. Quartz terminals offer a choice of as many as eight games apiece, and a full-service lottery centre is on site. The PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge sits within the restaurant and handles sports bets at three PROLINE terminals, while its 18-foot screen can carry as many as six games side by side. For a break from the machines, the Cranbrook casino keeps a pool table.

Food
Food from breakfast to late
Numa Lounge & Dining, the resort restaurant, occupies the Mission building and faces the golf course and Fisher Peak. Its breakfast service starts at 7 am and wraps up at 11 am every day. The lounge keeps Wednesday to Sunday hours of 4 pm to 11 pm; on those same days, dinner is plated between 5 pm and 9:30 pm. Through golf season, the Snack Shack and the 19th Hole look after players on the St. Eugene course.
Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ, the kitchen and bar inside Casino of the Rockies, borrows its name from the Ktunaxa words for "good food". Sunday through Thursday, the bar serves from 11 am to 10:30 pm, and its Friday and Saturday hours stretch to 12:30 am. Cooking begins at 11 am daily, with the Friday and Saturday kitchen closing set at 11 pm. For anyone wanting to eat past 10 pm on a Sunday to Thursday evening, the Scorecard desk advises ringing 250-417-2772 ahead.

At the door
Before the casino door
- Every visit means a government-issued photo ID at the door, for guests 19 and up; the scan is matched with the barred list and then not kept.
- Proper attire is required at the door, and that includes shirts and shoes.
- No outside food or drink comes into the casino, and alcohol stays on the gaming floor rather than going into the lobby.
- A smoking pit is set aside inside the casino, and the resort marks other spots for smokers outdoors.
The resort
Who runs the resort
Before it became a resort, the building was the St. Eugene Mission residential school. The Ktunaxa First Nation now owns and operates it: four Ktunaxa communities together with the Kenpesq't (Shuswap Indian Band), forming St. Eugene Mission Holdings Limited.
The Ktunaxa Nation Council operates the Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre, located in the Mission building at St. Eugene. Its doors are open Monday to Friday, 9 am until 4:30 pm, with weekends closed. Tours need to be booked ahead of time.
Online in BC
Online gambling in BC, plainly
The Cranbrook Casino Scorecard keeps this simple. In British Columbia, the law allows a single online gambling site, PlayNow.com, run by BCLC. Oversight of gambling across the province has sat with BC's Independent Gambling Control Office, the IGCO, since April 13, 2026. In the IGCO's view, any other site that accepts BC players is acting illegally within BC. Whether a bet goes on a screen or on a casino floor near Cranbrook, 19 is the age floor.
On this home page, the links marked Ad point to an online casino run privately, not PlayNow.com. The province does not operate it or grant it a licence, and the partner itself is not fixed. A BC player who bets there steps outside the provincial safeguards: PlayNow limits stop at its door, Game Break has no reach, and no complaint can go to the IGCO.
